For Aromatherapy: Add 1–2 drops to a diffuser filled with the manufacturer-recommended amount of water. Begin with one drop because Peru Balsam Oil has a rich and persistent aroma.

For Diffuser Blends: Combine 1 drop with Sweet Orange, Bergamot, Frankincense, Cedarwood, Sandalwood or Vanilla to create a warm and comforting atmosphere.

For Natural Perfumery: Use in very small quantities as a sweet balsamic base note in professionally formulated perfumes, attars, solid perfumes, colognes and botanical fragrance compositions.

For Home Fragrance: Incorporate into professionally formulated candles, wax melts, incense blends, aroma oils and room-fragrance products according to the supplier’s applicable IFRA certificate.

For Personal Fragrance Products: Use only in professionally formulated products at the concentration permitted for the relevant IFRA product category.

For Topical Use: Direct do-it-yourself skin application is not recommended because Peru Balsam Oil is a recognised fragrance sensitiser. Any cosmetic use must follow a qualified formulator’s safety assessment and the supplier’s current category-specific IFRA documentation.

For Bath Use: Direct use in bathwater is not recommended because the oil may irritate or sensitise the skin.

When the Oil Thickens: If the oil becomes viscous at cooler temperatures, warm the tightly closed bottle gently between your hands or place it briefly in lukewarm water. Do not expose it to boiling water, direct flame or excessive heat.

Peru Balsam and its derivatives are well-known fragrance allergens and may cause irritation, allergic contact dermatitis or sensitisation in susceptible individuals. Direct do-it-yourself topical use is therefore not recommended.

Crude Peru Balsam should not be used as a fragrance ingredient. Distilled oil, absolute and other permitted extracts are subject to strict, product-category-specific IFRA concentration limits.

Cosmetic, personal-care and fragrance applications must follow the supplier’s current Certificate of Analysis, Safety Data Sheet, allergen declaration and applicable IFRA certificate.

People with known allergies or sensitivities to Peru Balsam, benzoin, cinnamon, clove, vanilla-like fragrance materials or fragrance mixes should avoid using this product.

Avoid contact with the eyes, face, nostrils, inner ears, mucous membranes and other sensitive areas. Do not apply to broken, inflamed, freshly shaved or highly sensitive skin.

Keep out of reach of children and pets. Avoid use around babies and young children.

Consult a qualified healthcare professional before use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, while taking medication or if you have asthma, allergies, eczema, highly sensitive skin or another medical condition.

Diffuse only in a spacious, well-ventilated room. Discontinue use if coughing, headache, dizziness, redness, itching, breathing discomfort or irritation occurs.

Store tightly closed in a cool, dry and dark place away from direct sunlight, heat, sparks and open flames.
