Refund policy

Returns & Refund Policy

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 2 days. If 2 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange. We usually process refunds with in 48 to 72 hours after receiving customer request. Refunds are credited to your original payment mode of transaction opted while placing the order. Sometimes refunds may be delayed due to uncertain circumstances e.g. holidays, pandemics and natural disasters etc. Once your refund is processed, you will be notified by mail to your registered mail ID. (It is always advisable to register your email ID while placing the order or creating an account with the Forest Clay website or App. It will help us to provide you better communication about your order or refund status. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as essential oils, essential oil blends, carrier oils, food, flowers, newspapers, or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Single Oils
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 2 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed with in 48 to 72 hours, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Please note that all sale items are non-refundable and non-refundable. This policy applies to products purchased at a discounted price, during special promotions, or from our clearance section.

1. Non-Refundable Sale Items

  • Final Sale: All items purchased as part of a sale or promotion are considered final sale and are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances.
  • Discounted Products: Any products purchased with discount codes, sales or clearance tags, or as part of seasonal sales are not eligible for a refund or return.

2. Non-Returnable Sale Items

  • No Returns Accepted: We do not accept returns for sale items, including those purchased during promotional periods, flash sales, or end-of-season clearance.
  • Exchange Policy: Exchanges are not permitted for items bought on sale. Please ensure you select the correct product before completing your purchase.

    Electrical & Electronics Item

    Electrical & electronic items such as diffusers & humidifiers are non-refundable or non-returnable.

    There is no warranty or guarantee for all electrical and electronic items. 

    Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable Policy for Products with Usage Issues

    We value your business and strive to deliver high-quality products. Please note our policy regarding electrical & electronic items that function initially but encounter issues afterward:

    1. Products That Stopped Working After Initial Use

    • If a product worked when first used but stopped functioning afterward, it is considered non-returnable and non-refundable.
    • Repair Services: In such cases, we offer repair services, but the cost of repairs, including any shipping fees, will be the responsibility of the customer. For more information on repair services, please contact our customer service team at care@forestcaly.in

    2. No Warranty or Guarantee Beyond 48 Hours

    • All electrical and electronic items come with a limited inspection window upon delivery.
    • Inspection Period: If any issues with the product are identified, they must be reported within 48 hours of receiving the product.
    • No Warranty/Guarantee Beyond 48 Hours: If a problem is reported after 48 hours from the delivery date, the item will not be covered by any warranty or guarantee. We encourage customers to thoroughly inspect and test their products upon receipt to ensure they are in good working condition.

    Exchanges

    We only replace items if they are defective or damaged due to manufacturing issues. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged during shipping. All sale items are  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at care@forestclay.in and send your item to:

    Gifts

    If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

    If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

    Shipping Returns

    To return your product, you should mail your product to: care@forestclay.in

    You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

    Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

    If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
