Privacy rights & requests

Use the privacy email shown on this page or the contact form. Tell us the right you want to exercise and the email associated with your account or order. We may request proportionate identity or authorization checks. Do not send a passport or other sensitive identification unless we explain why it is necessary and provide an appropriate method.

Where applicable, request a copy of your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to certain processing. You may withdraw consent for optional processing without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Requests are generally free unless the law permits a fee or refusal. We explain any limitation, applicable response period and permitted extension.

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we normally respond within one month, with a permitted extension of up to two further months for qualifying complex or numerous requests, explaining the extension within the first month. You may complain to your competent supervisory authority. Data needed for legal obligations or claims may be retained with an explanation.

Where the relevant law applies to Forest Clay and your information, rights may include knowing, accessing, correcting or deleting data, opting out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising, and limiting certain sensitive-data uses. Applicable requests to know or delete generally receive a response within 45 days, subject to a lawful notified extension. Authorized agents may act with appropriate verification. We honour legally required opt-out preference signals and do not discriminate for exercising protected rights. See California privacy guidance.

Rights and commencement dates differ in India, Canada, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and other jurisdictions. We apply the rights and timeframes in force for the relevant processing. If we refuse a request, ask for review and use any regulator or statutory appeal route available to you. Account deletion may leave records we must lawfully retain; we will explain this rather than promise immediate deletion of every backup or transaction.
